Olena Lukash: People will overcome consequences of political crisis themselves. At elections

The VRU closed till next week. The speaker is not elected, because there is no candidate who would satisfy all factions. "The parliament is paralyzed. There is nobody to sigh laws," politicians say with indignation. "One should not dramatize the situation on speaker election. With the speaker Rada also worked unproductive," the secretary of the VR committee on legal policy, MP from the Party of regions Olena Lukash told the IMC in an interview.

-Olena Lukash, who is the most probable candidate for the speaker position?

- The names of candidates are know: Oleksandr Lavrynovych, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Adam Martynyuk, Ivan Plyushch. Some representatives of OU-PSD also called Vyacheslav Kyrylenko.

It is difficult to make any predictions, taking in to consideration character of the political processes. I think the compromise candidacy has the most chances to become the VRU speaker. Categoricity is not a language of the policy.

MPs should agree. I would like it happen this week. But personally I do not consider absence of speaker as a tragedy.

- Under what conditions the PR to support "not Lavrynovych"? For example Lytvyn, Martynyuk, Plyushch?

- We will not set any conditions. And will not hold any bids, because we treat pessimistically the work of the VRU of this convocation.

The matter is not in a new speaker. Our opponents are happy because mass media makes a stress on speaker elections than on financial crisis. Meanwhile the country observes mass staff reductions.

- BYuT reproaches PR that it had necessary votes to dismiss Yatsenyuk but has no votes to elect a new speaker. Comment on this, please.

- The issue on Yatsenyuk's resignation was put by Yatsenyuk by his application on resignation. He did not withdraw his application. So MPs satisfied this application. There was also personal reason for his resignation, as MPs could not understand position of speaker who secretly signed letter to NATO and who systematically broke the VRU regulations.

As to the BYuT reproaches, we got used to this already. Since 2005 they try to put responsibility on other people.

- Does PR plan to form a coalition, if yes, with whom? Who are your partners?

- A new coalition in the parliament of VI convocation in hardly probable. The ideal would be a configuration PR+CPU+Lytvyn bloc, but unfortunately this is only 222 votes, we lack 4 votes," MP said.

- But "Our Ukraine"?

- "Our Ukraine" too friable force which will not be in coalition with any force.

Now we intend to show our solution of the political and economic crisis. This week we will register 12 draft laws allowing to mitigate consequences of the economic crisis for people. People will overcome consequences of political crisis themselves, at elections.
