Semenyuk-Samsonenko: We need 8 months for privatization of Odessa Port Plant

President of the State Property Fund Valentyna Semenyuk-Samsonenko told, the IMC (InterMedia Consulting) informed.

"We need 8 months to prepare privatization", she noted. She stressed that preparative measures could be made only after the legislative grounds had been passed by the VRU, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko № 200. She did not predict probable price of the Odessa Port Plant as it is unknown when it can take place and how will be the state of stock markets.

"The SPF intends to sell about 95% of shares of the OPP only after the new program of privatization will have been passed by the VRU," Semenyuk-Samsonenko told.
